Futuremakers Festival is a community arts project from March 27th to April 24th that invites residents across Maidstone and the wider Kent area to explore climate action through creativity.
In partnership with Maidstone CAN, Friends of the River Medway and Maidstone Borough Council, the project will deliver inclusive, accessible workshops where participants will respond to climate themes and local environmental issues through poetry, soundscapes, textiles and theatre.
Alongside developing creative skills, participants will explore practical actions they can take to live more sustainably, connect with local climate initiatives, and build confidence in their ability to create positive change.
