HIRE SPACE AT HARMONY MAIDSTONE

The building is available to hire in part or as a whole. The building has a main hall space that seats 98 people in rows or 60 seated in cabaret style. Tables and chairs are available on site to facilitate this. If a standing show is required, the main hall will hold 150 people.

Within the main hall is a stage 5m x 5m which has a built in PA system and lighting rig. Additional areas available are our Art Room, which can be used as a workshop space, meeting room, bar area (staffed by Harmony), etc. The Harmony Tardis is also available as a workshop space, meeting room or backstage dressing room.

The building also has dedicated toilet facilities and a small box office area available for shows and events, and a small kitchen space that can be made available upon request. There is space to the front of the building within the gates for parking of up to four cars. There is a small public car park just beyond that for an additional eight cars. There is lots of free on-street parking at the end of the driveway. When required we can supply volunteers to aid in parking large audiences.

When hired with the main hall the add on spaces, Art Room and Tardis are charged at a lower rate.

Technical crew for events and shows includes sound and lighting engineers to use our in house systems. Due to insurance and safety aspects, these facilities will need to be run by our own staff. Only one crew member will be booked and they will cover both sound and light.

(Depending on the complexity of the show, additional technical crew may be required.) Harmony members and volunteers that have engaged with Harmony for a period exceeding three months will be entitled to a 10% discount on hire fees (no discount is given on crew costs).
