Harmony Maidstone are excited to announce our poetry project “Maidstone: Our Town, Our Words”.
We will be writing poems that celebrate Maidstone and explore themes of community, culture and identity, to be collated into a poetry book which will be made available to the local community.
We invite you to join us, whether you are an aspiring or seasoned poet, this project is open to all and will be led by our team of published poets and mentors.
A fantastic opportunity to hone your poetic craft and meet like minded poets in the local scene. With the chance to perform your poetry live as part of our showcase and have your poetry published in our poetry book.
Join us for a wonderful week of poetic exploration and channel your inner bard with the guidance of our experienced mentors.
The project runs from 8th-11th October at the Creative Maidstone Community Hub on St Gabriel’s Hill, featuring daily writing workshops and a live poetry performance showcase.
