Craft Exchange
An event that allows local makers, artists, and hobbyists to “de-stash” responsibly. This isn’t a jumble sale; it’s a curated exchange of quality materials and “works in progress” that deserve a new lease on life.
Why this event?
- Declutter with Dignity: We all have high-quality materials we are “precious” about. This event ensures they go to a peer who understands their value, rather than a landfill or a generic charity shop.
- The “Unfinished” Exchange: A unique chance to swap projects that no longer “spark joy” for you, but would be a treasure for someone else.
- Community Networking: A space to meet fellow creatives, share techniques, and find inspiration.
The Format: A mix of “straight swaps,” “negotiated trades,” and small-scale sales of raw materials.
Who is this for?
We are looking for:
- The Over-Stashed: Those with cupboards full of fabric, yarn, beads, paints, or tools gathering dust.
- The Pivoters: Creatives moving from one medium to another.
- The Networkers: Those looking for community connection in a relaxed, inspiring environment.
