Ready to step out of the shadows of your influences and into the spotlight? Youth Jam: Originals Only is Harmony’s dedicated platform for the creators, the innovators, and the risk-takers. While our classic Youth Jams celebrate the hits, this night is 100% dedicated to the art of songwriting and original composition.
We are looking for musicians under 25 who are tired of playing it safe. Whether you’re a solo electronic producer, an indie band with a fresh demo, or a rapper with a new flow, this is your space to test your own material in front of a live, supportive audience.
The Stage Rules:
Originals Only: Show us what you’ve been writing. This is a “no-cover” zone.
The Remix Rule: If you want to play a song by another artist, it must be highly altered. We want to hear your unique spin—flip the genre, rewrite the melody, or strip it back and rebuild it. Make it yours.
All Genres Welcome: From metal to glitch-pop, if you created it, we want to hear it.
Why play an Originals Only night? This isn’t just a gig; it’s a laboratory for your career. It’s a place to find your unique voice, get feedback from your peers, and connect with other serious young artists in the community. We provide the full backline and professional sound tech—you bring the vision.
Play for your chance to win: We know that being a gigging musician isn’t always cheap, so as a ‘thank you’ for sharing your talent, every artist who performs gets a raffle token as they step off stage.
