 nOne Maidstone BID is thrilled to announce the return of Fun Palaces to Ma
 idstone on Saturday 4 October 2025\, joining a free\, nationwide campaign 
 placing culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of cu
 lture.\nThis year\, Maidstone Fun Palace will turn the town centre into a 
 buzzing mix of art\, science\, music\, tech\, craft\, sport—and most imp
 ortantly\, people—coming together to create\, play and connect.\n\nWhat
 ’s Happening\nFrom Brenchley Gardens to The Mall\, Fremlin Walk\, and Ro
 yal Star Arcade\, expect a day packed with free\, family-friendly fun\, in
 cluding:\n\n 	Pottery Painting &amp\; Raku Firing\n 	Dance\, Drama &amp\; 
 Musical Theatre workshops with Razzamataz and Proud PAC\n 	Electric Drum W
 orkshop with AG Drums\n 	Sports tasters from Maidstone United\, Invicta Vo
 lleyball\, Maidstone Amateur Boxing Club and more\n 	Creative crafts\, emb
 roidery\, giant community canvases and poetry/rap sessions with Paul Cree\
 n 	Interactive family music and singing\, wellness challenges\, and so muc
 h more!\n\nMichelle Woodland\, CEO of One Maidstone BID\, said:\n\n“Fun 
 Palaces is a true celebration of Maidstone’s creativity and community sp
 irit. We’re proud to bring together residents\, businesses\, and local t

 fering something for every age and interest.\n\nNow in its 10th anniversar
 y year\, the Fun Palaces Weekend (4–6 October) invites everyone to share
  their skills\, passions and creativity. Since 2014\, over 45\,000 people 
 have helped create 2\,500 Fun Palaces\, engaging more than 800\,000 partic
