Sounds Around Our Town

Sounds Around Our Town is a 2 day creative sound project for 14-19 year olds from the 17th-18th of August 2023.
Day 1 record any sound that is around you, using tablets and microphones as field recorders. All equipment provided.
Day 2 sculpture, twist and edit audio into a soundscape or song using tablets and free accessible software.
Hosted by Zoe Sparkle at Harmony Community Arts Centre, Mangravet and taught by local musical artist and producer Aran Gibbs. They’ll also be supported by local volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge in music and technology.
Days will run from 10am till 4pm, lunch is not included so make sure to bring your own lunch!
