Harmony Arts Centre along with support from Maidstone Borough Council and the UK Government Levelling Up fund, present a SUMMER HOLIDAY project – RECYCLE RHAPSODY!!
Join us at Harmony Maidstone for a unique opportunity to work with industry professionals and create a performance showcasing skills in either dance, costume design, production or music.
You’ll get the chance to try out each specialism on the first day before selecting which you’d prefer to work on for the rest of the week.
Once you have chosen your pathway you will collaborate with a team of your peers under the guidance of an industry professional for a four day course leading up to a final carnival type performance with a strong focus on sustainability and recycling.
This is a unique opportunity for you to showcase not just your creative skills but also work in collaboration with a team and in conjunction with multiple creative practices. All participants will receive a certificate and unique recommendation letter signed by their course leader which can be used to gain further education or work opportunities.
As part of this week-long workshop we will have talks from Maidstone’s Biodiversity department, Bearsted CAN and Trash Changers.
